Monier-Williams dictionary from Cologne Sanskrit Lexicon
English Translation by Griffith

1.128.4

That Agni, wise High-Priest, in every house takes thought for sacrifice and holy service, yea, takes thought, with mental power, for sacrifice. Disposer, he with mental power shows all things unto him who strives; Whence he was born a guest enriched with holy oil, born as Ordainer and as Priest.

Oldenberg's translation

1.128.4

This highly wise Purohita, Agni watches sacrifice and service 1 house by house; by (the power of) his mind he is intent upon sacrifice. By (the power of) his mind helpful to him who desires food 2, he looks on all creatures, since he has been born, the guest adorned with ghee, (since) the helpful carrier (of the gods) 3 has been born.
