iṣṭāpūrtá n. ‘filled up or stored up sacrificial rites’, or the merit of sacred rites &c. stored up in heaven, [RV.]; [AV.]; [VS.]; [ŚBr.]; [R.] &c. (see [Muir v, 293]; according to Banerjea's translation of Brahma-sūtras, p. 19, iṣṭa means personal piety, pūrta works for the benefit of others).
